45-70 reloads

did search did not find anything , has any body worked with 265 grain bullit reload for a 45-70

where did you find .458 265 grs? or are you talking .452 pistol bullets?
.452's will just skip down your rifling and not give much accuracy.

Only thing Ive loaded so far has been 350gr Hornady flatpoints.

do you mean 365gr? handloads.net may have data for you, but you might consider looking at the 405gr lead bullet, J&K makes good ones and their is tons of data out there. google 45/70 loads. I am working on a 3031 load of 45gr with the 405gr slug.
