.45 OAL Length in 1911

The last box of 230g RN FMJ .45 WWB ammo I bought had OAL variations from 1.258 - 1.274. They all cycled, loaded and shot fine from my 1911 RIA.

The last load of 230g RN FMJ I worked up averaged and OAL of 1.268 and all cycled and loaded with no problems. I use Checkmate, ACT and Chip McCormick Power Mags.

I see OAL lengths of 230g RN FMJ in my manuals and Internet load sheets that range from
1.200 to 1.270. This .070 OAL variance seems like a lot for the magazine feed system of a 1911 to overcome with no feeding problems.

What is the minimum OAL of 230g RN FMJ you have used in your 1911 reloads with no feeding problems?
