curious if anyone has had any luck with the 460 rowland conversion kits on a 1911. i know u can't get into the 300 grain bullets with this round but it looks like a decent shell. but looks can be decieving. thanks

Seen they have it for a couple of other pistols as well now. Brass is a little higher, etc, but looks cool. If you're a reloader, then as long as you can buy brass for it, then looks like alot of fun.
Yeah, I'm getting set up to reload again. I think it would make a great 1911 woods gun. I doubt I would shoot more than 50-100 rounds a year with it. Most of the time I would have the 1911 in the 45 ACP config.
