7" AR Pistol - good, bad, ugly?

I have a 7.5" PWS that runs very well. The problem is low light shooting. It has a huge fireball of unburnt powder.

It is also too short for most suppressors, as the hot gasses can erode them.

What kind of buffer and recoil spring do you have to run?

Just a standard carbine buffer and spring. iirc
