If your truly serious about a TC platform, I would suggest looking into the possibility of a new frame and pin, barrels and furniture, instead of messing with rebuilding an old one for considerably cheaper. These old used guns are very well used and just having to replace just a pin in a frame can be quite the chore.
(tightening the gun back up for consistent accuracy)

I've shot one of my largest deer with the 7tcu, in a pistol, and also have the MGM 19" carbine barrel too. just don't shoot tenders anymore, BT worked well on deer..

Thank you for the info Paul. I think I’m going to go with a new SSK-50 receiver.

That is what I’m loading 120 BT.
I be careful with SSK frame I hear they are having issues and their CS sucks. SSK has a new owner.
