what ammo do you guys shoot? 115,124,147 or ????

+1. 147's at about 130 power factor..
I run 115 federals off the walmart shelf.
If you want really soft recoil, run 147's. If you want really inexpensive ammo, run 115's. If you want the best of neither one, run 124's. 
Major/minor is also called power factor. It is a simple equation used to determine how much punch your ammo has. It is used to try to level the playing field in what types and how hot or cold we load out ammo.
Bullet Weight X Bullet Velocity / 1000 = Power Factor
The USPSA says that a power factor of 125 is the minimum for minor power factor and 165 is minimum for major power factor.

Major is scores as such:
A=5
B=4
C=4
D=2
Minor is scores as such:
A=5
B=3
C=3
D=1
If you don't make minor you get DQ'd.
