Here are a couple knives I finished today in 1095 carbon steel, these are more on the simple (less fancy) side, but I like them. I really like 1095 and have a lot of people who really love the performance of these blades, I have had two people complain about rusting. I guess I should do better at warning people about the one draw back of this steel, it will stain, it will rust if you put it up wet, or store it in the sheath for long periods of time. I spray the inside of my sheaths with Rem oil it, will not hurt the leather and will help with rusting. If you want a knife that will stay shiny forever this steel is not for you.
