When Robert B. Parker passed away back on January 18, 2010, I thought for sure his work would die right along with him. Well, Michael Brandman, who's most famous for co-producing the Jesse Stone movies with our buddy Tom Selleck (who is also a co-producer) was hand picked by RBP's widow Joan along with their two sons, David and Daniel to continue the Jesse Stone novels and let me tell ya, they sure picked a goodun!
If you get a chance, read Brandman's first novel, Killing The Blues. Brandman's writing is as good as it gets. It's as if Jesse Stone never skipped a beat and Bob Parker never died.
Fool Me Twice hits bookstore shelves on September 11th.
