Tywone Parks was released from prison last week, and all staff and students at RSU were notified this morning by the RSU President.
FYI In 2008, Mr. Parks pled guilty to "planning to perform an act of violence" that included RSU students.

Claremore man who threatened RSU massacre released from prison
CLAREMORE A former Rogers State University student who was sentenced to 10 years for planning/conspiring act of violence, has been released from state prison after four years.
Tywone Parks was first taken into custody in February 2008, following the discovery of a severed dogs head on the porch of a neighbors apartment, believed to be from Parks.
During a May 2008 trial, investigators testified of disturbing messages found on the walls of Parks apartment detailing threats of choking an RSU student to death, and decapitating the head of another.
Claremore Police Investigator John Singer said Parks was released with no probation or state supervision and is currently residing in Tulsa.
The court imposed everything they could based on the charges and evidence. Serving nearly five years for a 10 year sentence is a lot compared to what we usually see, said Singer.
He said Claremore Police have made Tulsa police aware of Parks conduct in the past.
According to a Claremore Police affidavit, journals with specific threats of a mass shooting at RSU were also recovered. During that time, weapons were taken into custody from Parks, including a .45 caliber handgun, a shotgun and a magazine-loaded .22 caliber rifle found in the trunk of his vehicle.
