How frustrating! Very nice pics though! All my hunting has been with my son. He is 12 and has not shot his first deer yet. I hope he gets one soon.

Cool pictures, never thought of it but taking a camera into the woods sounds like a good idea for just these kinds of situations. Or if you are crafty enough to get a picture of your deer living and dead.

I'm going to throw the D40 in the truck for my Sunday hunt. Hopefully pull some pictures of deer about to die.
