I was wanting to take my daughter crappie fishing somewhere east of OKC. We don't have a boat so we need a dock or a good shoreline. Anyone having any luck you care to share plus some tips??? Thanks!!!!
I think Twin Lakes near Shawnee has a covered crappie dock but not sure where...?

Check out Arcadia lake. I think it has a nice covered dock. CB
Thunderbird has a ton of crappie in it. They are usually pretty small though. Alot of people toss jigs from the bank using light tackle and long poles.
Lake Hefner can be a good place to toss jigs from the bank also. Caught some nice crappie from there before.

Try the covered dock at Fountainhead marina on Lake Eufaula. The crappie fishing is good there right now. You can get further info on Eufaula by checking crappie.com.
