Hi guys recently picked up a paddle boat for my dad and we have been having a blast in it. We’ve only spent a couple hours on Sahoma but so far we are impressed with it.

Does anyone know any good public spots we could put the boat in the water and do some light fishing? Or any suggestions where NOT to go?
We are thinking of going to Taft lake this weekend or next. Any suggestions are welcome.
We don’t want to bother anyone else, the boat is kinda loud on the water but it can be paddled with an oar just as quite as a kayak or whatever. We are amateur fisherman. We like to stay around creek or Tulsa county.

Might be a little far from where ya'll want to go, but Chimney Rock Lake doesn't allow combustion engines so might have better odds without the bass boat competition.

Heyburn doesn't get much motor traffic, and if you put in at Shepperd's Point, take the curve up the creek west of the ramp. I've kayaked there many times - it's not deep, but bass and catfish are plentiful.
