I bought a sink for a farm house/hunter's cabin on sale from Lowes. I'm have a problem with the tailpiece that came with the faucet.
This picture is not the sink, but demonstrates the configuration of the hole. The diameter of the top of (the beginning of the) hole is 3 inches. It tapers down to a 1 3/4 inch hole for the tailpiece cap. But the tailpiece cap (in the pic below, the yucky looking chrome surface that screws onto the actual tailpiece) is too small. The outer edge of the "cap" barely contacts the sink. I've tried to find something oversize, but no luck. Suggestions.?
