I have a similar contraption, much better than a vice block.
Took it out and tested it, and it does still go bang just like it should.

Had to buy a non threaded barrel to use a particular Alien Gear holster I have coming and decided to add a piece of "flair" to the gun. A gold barrel to match the gold safety on the trigger I had installed. Yes, I have a Guccied Dagger, so what?
Funny this, just got back from range and took the other half's Fie Titan .25 that my late mother gifted her. Had to try it out since I lost the extractor spring in garage while stripping it down to clean it, so tried a makeshift spring to replace it. Forgot how fun these are to shoot and how tiny the 25acp is. Hell the extractor almost hooks on the primer itself since the rim is almost nonexistent. Now I need to find some more rounds in stock that don't cost an arm and a leg!
