I went into a pawn shop looking for a microphone desk stand this afternoon. Walked by a case with a group of magazines when I spotted one with a yellow follower. The guy behind the case told me it was a Taurus G2c magazine but it was a 17 round magazine. It was only $12 so I bought it. I was halfway to my car when I realized it was a G3 magazine. I had been looking for a 15 round magazine but I'll accept a 17 rounder!

Colt DOE 9mm MG upper. These were built for the Dept. Of Energy.
That is awesome. I never knew these things existed. Where did you find it? Are they pricey?
This is a Colt upper with reproduction parts. Original complete Colt uppers are now around $3500, these can be had for around $1000.
Very nice. You will have to post pictures of the completed SBR and give us a range report. That thing looks like it could be ALLOT of fun.
