Great point. It is an Excalibur Mag Air which is somewhat a low budget model. I bought it for a backup and for my brother to use when he goes hunting with me. It should get here tomorrow or Friday.

I have a few old school MRDs - several PFI SOPSC (these have been around over 20 yrs and are still one of the best IMO) and a couple Insight MRDs, plus some junkers I've had/have.
I like the Shield sights quite a bit though...I think that will be my next MRD I put any $$ on.
I wanna steer as far from chicom crap as I can but it's almost impossible in the MRD space.
Holosun just came out with one that will work without an adapter plate, so it sits lower. For the life of me I can't remember the name of it, but my father loves his.
I like the Trijicon RM06 for my Glocks but I am interested in the new Holosun mentioned above. I think it’s called the SCS. Lower mounting, ability to use standard sights instead of tall..it looks really cool.
