Handguard arrived today. @Beau B was gracious enough to allow me the use of his Wheeler wrench. Stopped off at Cabela's and picked up a Wheeler upper block.

Took a bit to get the break and barrel nut timed perfectly, but she's good to go. Minus the Charging Handle. (Optics Planet shipping......)

Gun is dun.
Basically a WC recon upper on a LT lower. Tryin out one of these Strike latchless CH...seems ok but it's a little rattly. It does have some cool gas vents on it.
Short Dot is for effect, but I'll see how it shoots, it might stay there.

Well, sometimes you feel like a nut…. Sometimes you are a nut.

Custom built on a Remington 700 short action receiver that was lapped, blueprinted, and barreled with a 24” heavy barrel in 6x47 Lapua in a HS precision M24 stock. Got 130 loaded rounds and a total of 199 pieces of brass along with a set of expensive dies too.

I added a extra scope for a place holder, and the pup gives his approval
