I just want to watch everyone else shoot it. I have zero desire to.Hot damn, I want to shoot it....just once. Congrats.
I'm just the opposite. I want to shoot it before watching someone else shoot it so I don't KNOW what the recoil looks like. [emoji38]I just want to watch everyone else shoot it. I have zero desire to.
Curious how it compares to the sw 460. The noise and concussion bothered me (shot it indoors) not the recoilI'm just the opposite. I want to shoot it before watching someone else shoot it so I don't KNOW what the recoil looks like. [emoji38]
So far the biggest handgun I've shot has been a 44 Magnum and that wasn't bad at all. I'm sure this would be a whole different animal though. [emoji38]Curios how it compares to the sw 460. The noise and concussion bothered me (shot it indoors) not the recoil
Honestly, there's nothing about the big revolvers that anyone can't handle. most are no worse than the crappy PT145 I once had. Another that went on the bye bye heap a while back was a Rossi 44 mag snubbie....that kicked harder than the big boys because of it's size/cartridge.So far the biggest handgun I've shot has been a 44 Magnum and that wasn't bad at all. I like shooting .44 magnum especially if I'm a little stressed, something about the recoil kind of pounds the stress out of me. I shoot handloads though that are significant, but probably not full power loads. So far the biggest handgun I've shot has been a 44 Magnum and that wasn't bad at all. Hold on and get someone to take a pic of that big goofy grin when you touch it off!!
The trigger feels as light as my trapdoor, and that thing will go off if you breath too heavy near it. So hold on is right. The rounds I've got worked up right now are sending a 405gr cast at about 1560 fps out of that, so I betcha there'll be some recoil impulse.
