nice what you want for itI did pick this up over the weekend. Not sure what I'll do with it yet but it's a nice solid 30x60 Leupold spotter. View attachment 291567
Stopped by Sooner State pawn today and they took more of my money.
But I got a Savage 6A with the checkered walnut stock and finger groves. And only with only 4 patent numbers, this would place it as being made prior to WW2.
It's a very nice example with no rust and no signs of ever being refinished.

They aren't common. But I also paid more for this than any of my other gill-guns.I don't even remember ever seeing one of those!
Finally got some parts to start putting my deceased brothers Winchester190 22auto back in action. Going to turn it into a 290 with checkered stocks. Found a return spring and spring guide, stock, buttplate and 2 screws, and a pistol grip cap and spacer for the upgrade. Still need a magazine tube, recoil plate and front site but this will get me to single shot action to see if everything works correctly before I get the mag tube for auto.
I took a picture of the business card Classic Firearms and Parts. I highly recommend these guys as this is my third order from them and it ships fast and the used parts have been outstanding along with the new. This stock is superb condition.
