Tree saddle....
They can be great in a lot of scenarios
My buddy uses one almost exclusively for bow and loves it.
He uses Climbing spurs and cut up a hang on stand to use just the bottom to prop his feet on. He can be in a tree ready to hunt in under 5 min. Great for public land or guys who like to move stand locations a lot.

To misquote Chief Dan Joseph, "I will climb no more treestands forever." However, I really think this version ups the risk of a fall even for young hard bellies to an unacceptable level.

Here's my #1 issue with it. Absolutely zero chance of be able to shoot behind you AND unless you can switch to lefty how are you gonna get a shot on your off/weak side? It doesn't look like you could swivel enough and shoot hard on your right side. I wanna be able to move as much as possible to get that shot, cuz deer don't always follow the path we want!
