Anyone shot an LCR 357 yet?

To the O/P, I'm not sold on them. It seems that Ruger can't bring a new gun to market without having a recall. And then there's this and it's a .38!

Now they have a .357? :yikes2:

I've got a 340 also, it's all you want after about 5-10 rds of .357 but a great little carry gun.

Son-of-a-nutcracker! I wonder if this guy tried to put a Mag round through a regular LCR? That's a rather massive failure.

Well, Jeff Quinn seems to like the new LCR. It's a little "snappy".

Was it ever decided what caused this? Some speculation that it was a timing issue but sure looks like a squib load. Lastly, did Ruger initiate a recall from this?

I have no interest in defending Ruger, but I know you can find similar photos for many respected gun manufacturers.

That's true. But, given Ruger's recent history of recalls of their newly-designed weapons, I would have to think twice before purchasing any gun from them. I've heard that the 357 version of the LCR has more steel in the frame.
