Who the hell can afford to blast away 100rds at a time now days?!?

People who plan. Like my buddy Dave. He has 25,000 rounds of 223 handloads sitting in his garage.

I don't have near that many, but there are enough components to keep me shooting all the matches I want to for several years.

Did they finally get those working.
I know for a while they wouldn't work for nothing.

I had a beta type drum and shot it once. Sold it two days later. Its heavy, I can store 6 regular mags in the space it take up, it make the gun a lot harder to use with it on, interferes with grip and stance (depends on the person, obviously), and for the price, at the time, I could have 10-12 pmags instead.

Not worth it. Especially at today's prices.
