Only thing I would say is if you get a deal worked out with someone, try to get the face to face deal done right then or ASAP. Otherwise if you wait a day or even an hour or two, they may flake out, change their mind, take another offer, or you just may never hear from them again for who knows what reason...

This is sound advice.

Both times I had someone flake out on me was when we had set up a meeting for the next day.

I've made a couple sales and a couple buys on it, and never had any issues. Right now it looks like the only things for sale are from people who are still trying to get crisis prices for everything though. I've had better luck on Gunbroker lately. I just got a PLR-16 for $519.95... all the ones on Armslist were listed for over a grand.

Ive completed 2 transactions over there, both went good. There are some crazies over there though, $1 a round(5.56)... my ass!!

I have sold several items on Armslist. I've not had any problems. Just be prepared for people trying to talk you down to ridiculous prices, if you're selling.

No different than here. Both places have decent deals all the way up to ridiculous and I've actually been screwed around by more OSA people than anywhere else.
