Benchmark

I picked up an 8lb jug of Benchmark yesterday. Not what I was looking for but all I could find. I figured I better grab it the way things are now. I've never used it in .223 but I've heard good about it. Anyone here use it and do you like it?

I have used Benchmark for reloading .204 and I have been very pleased with 1/2 groups at 100 yards.

I have used Benchmark in .223 for a couple of years. I say one of the cleanest burning powders I have ever used.

My favorite load load for my benchrest 223 uses benchmark and a 55Gr nosler pill. It is super clean and very consistant

yup has worked fine for me me in 223, have 4 or 5 powders I worked loads up so as long as I can find one of them i'm good

I got a chance to work on some loads with Benchmark today. I've settled on 24.6 grains with a 53gr Vmax. It's one of the most accurate loads I've found. Clean burning also. I'm sold on Benchmark.

I bought some Benchmark a few years ago because I couldn't find any Varget locally (rural SW OK) and it was fine in my .223 and worked great in my Compact .308 with 125 grain bullets.
