Give me your impressions when you get around to it. Always wanted one. I don't mind the weird vertical grip angle in theory, but I haven't ever handled one of these.
It will be a couple of weeks before I get to the range. If you have shot their 92 versions, it's pretty much the same.
The newer Berettas in general have finally been giving customers what they’ve been asking for. G variants, replaceable sights, SAO versions, red dot cuts, even frame mount safeties on some of the models. I like the vertec but if one doesn’t, the wraparound grips that are included will revert it back to the hump grip.
The way they mount a RDS seems so clunky and make the mount and associated sights a mile high. I hate that. But the system does work and it does put a red dot on a good pistol, so it’s good they finally have that option.
