Bernie Madoff says he's dying, wants early release

Has he done everything within his power to restore stolen assets?

There is a trustee that is doing that and so far has recovered nearly 75% of the funds he stole. Really quite remarkable. Nonetheless, he should serve out his sentence....if he dies before then, well...too bad.

He deserves to die in prison. He don’t care one but about the lives he ruined. Even his own families lives. He should have become a democrat politician. He would still be a free man and still able to rip off as many people as he wants.

I would imagine that some if not many of the people that lost their life's savings are dead by now. He hastened their deaths.

What's his big beef! He's getting an early out. It's called dying.

He still has time to make his peace with the Lord. That can be done anywhere - even in prison. Well, anywhere except Hell.

I faintly remember an ISIS or Al-Qaida member who was released due to his "terminal illness" by Great Britain or maybe the United States and he immediately upon return to his homeland agains joined the ranks of jihadists.
Perhaps this another of Madoff's scams?

That was the guy that took down the jet over Lockerbie Scotland. He returned to Libya as a hero.
