anyone have a preferred round for hogs in .300? I've been told the 110 grain by barnes but would like some other opinions
with the expense and difficulty in supplies, I'd say whichever you can actually find on the shelf right now. seems tome that the most popular barrels for 300 have been fast twist which stabilize heavier bullets better. I'd go as heavy as you can find.
The 110 grn Barnes WAS my favorite bullet. I have not been able to find the component available separately since Sandy Hook. The 125 grain Nosler ballistic tip has worked well for me as of late. PNW Arms loads this bullet if you are looking for factory loads.
