.375 H&H, .375 Weatherby, .45-70, .458 Win Mag. I guess they qualify.

Oh, and skunks don't go far when hit with 350 grains from a .45-70.

I have a .375 H&H. One of the most accurate guns I own, and a pussycat to shoot with 300 grain bullets. Bought it for resale, but got attached. It might be the last rifle I would turn loose of.

This gun is a Whitworth bolt on a commercial Mauser action made in the early 80s and imported. Stock is like the shiny Remingtons from the 80s and checkering is pressed, but it shoots cloverleaf groups of three at 100 yards in significant wind. Damage to game is minimal. Just a big ol' hole through and through. CB

I've never heard of a .375 Whby..........:hey3:

Before Roy came out with the .378, he first took a .375 H&H and put his double-radiused shoulder on it ... hence, the .375 Weatherby. They made it for about three years before he introduced the .378. I'll try to post some pics side-by-side.

The last time I was in South Africa, I used a 375 H&H Magnum for my varmint rifle. Pictured is an African Wildcat taken with a 300 gr. Hornady FMJ RN.
