If this goes, be looking for a nicer straighter highway between Bentonville AR and Vinita. THe Bentonville/Rogers area is a growth mecca just waiting. There are over a million people in their metro area.

I seen this happen many times, states get in trouble on revenue, loose businesses due to high taxes. Big holding companies stay on the prey for situations like this. States, counties, cities give away the store falling for their fantasy lines and left holding the bag. This is a horrible and dangerous move for Vinita.

Unless Vinita has moved their city boundaries 6 miles east, it shouldn't affect the city. But, being that Vinita is the county seat, stranger things have happened.

Iirc there are two detention centers and one prison on the north side of town. Hopefully the inmates can see the rides from the main yard.
