Blue Alge in Eufuala

I know Gentry and Porum have been hit but does anyone have any more updates or places that are closed.

Heading up there tomorrow morning.

i heard they were advising absolutely NO swimming at eufala. But i could be wrong.

I heard that too but didnt know if it was internet rumor or actual lake wide warning

I know sulfer springs is verry low and the water is stagnet and dirty. Normaly you can see the bottum but not now. To top it all off the water was warm too. It was not the best of mini vacations.

I have heard that they recommend no swimming in the lake, but have only closed swim areas in the porum area. I'm sitting at eufaula cove right now and many have been swimming. Jellystone's swim area was packed when we came into town earlier this evening.

I'm going to be on Eufuala starting tomorrow and all weekend as well. I would like to know if anyone has an update on this as well?

That's the best link for info around here. I'm around the No. 9 Marina area, and all "appears" clear here. Lots of people in the water.

Have a spot in the Porum area as well. I have not heard about this, but haven't swam there in the last 3 weeks...
