Break In at Sooner State Pawn - Northside

OKLAHOMA CITY —Oklahoma City police said a car slammed into a pawn shop at NW 23rd Street and Meridian Avenue around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Officers said the suspects then stole several guns from inside the store before fleeing the scene.

It's believed there are four suspects.

None of them have been arrested.

No one was hurt.

Police say the suspects were in a stolen car.

Authorities are investigating a similar incident that happened at 3:30 a.m.

Police said someone tried to steal guns from a pawn shop near Council and Northwest Expressway.

The guns at the pawn shop on Council were locked up.

4 Suspects crashed a stolen car through the front and grabbed some guns.
Looked like a considerable amount of damage from what I could see on the news.

I like that place. Was in denial at 1st because i didn't recognize the neon sign in front they were showing in the news and thought it was a different pawn shop.

Punks picked the wrong f@cking store.

As many of you saw on the news we had a car drive through the front of our shop on NW 23rd St. It caused major damage to our sales floor. We had our firearms locked up, but the car was able to make it across our entire sales floor and bust open were the firearms were locked up. They were able to get away with a few revolvers. We have video of the entire incident which has been released to the Police. Hopefully they catch these guys quickly.

We also heard that Gunworx was hit this morning as well, possibly by the same group.

We're going to do our best to open as soon as possible.

All stolen merchandise was our inventory. No transfers or pawned items were stolen.
