Buck you, man!

So I went out last and this weekend for the last chance to get a doe with a rifle, and all I got in range was bucks, and lots of them. I've had over 20 deer in my crosshairs over 5 days, and all of them antlered.

For finale today, right before the sunset, a group of 9! bucks came up to me - all shapes and sizes. I think there were laughing at me.

P.S. As a matter of fact I shot an antlerless last year out of a bachelor group like that (before I knew what a bachelor group was).

P.P.S. Going with the bow out in two weeks - we'll see who's laughing then.

I had the same luck beginning opening day. Shot a buck opening AM, went back Sat PM, Sun AM, Mon PM, Tues AM and maybe one or two other days including the 18th. ALL I had shots a were bucks. Really wanted to get two does during the regular rifle season in the two doe zones, but not one.

At least you do still have some bow season. Of course, you will probably see does then. How do they know?

Holiday Antlerless season. Its after regular rifle season and just to help population control after the regular folks have filled their tags.
