I've been in on a lot of group buys. I would hate to be the one in charge. The tire kickers and backouts would make one go nuts.
I don't mold my own bullets, just sinkers for fishing, but good luck.

There certainly are a couple of moulds I’d like to have but I’m unfamiliar with “group buys”. Would we all be going in together buying multiples of the same mould which is what it kind of sounds like or are we just guaranteeing that as a group we’ll purchase “X” number of various moulds?

I think their group buys are structured so that if a group of people want a mold made that is not readily available or it is obsolete or there is just not a quality mold. Once NOE has an active group buy going they don’t doing any tooling or production until they have the minimum number of committals.

You use to be able to get in on some decent group buys at cast boolits .com. I haven’t hung out over there in quite a while but I assume there is still a little of it going on.
