Is 1.15 correct even for flat nose jacketed? Like the Montana Gold 147 FNFMJ?

It is doubtfull that Lyman would make a mistake like that. They do make the molds. It should be noted that we are referring to cast bullets. 1.115 is correct for the jacketed bullets, 1.058 for Lyman #356637. Now I am not sure of what mold J&K uses for the 147s, but it is darn close if not identical to lymans.

The lyman book has 147tmj listed and looks to be FP, so yes 1.115 would probably be right. 147 xtp in the hodgdon book are 1.1 and IMR book says 1.130 for xtp. If you want to be safe, start with a mid powder charge and start on the long side and work down, I wouldnt go below 1.115. As always watch for signs of over pressure and it is always wise to have multiple reloading books around to reference an cross reference.
