So the other day I posted about the FN P90,,,
It's about the coolest personal defense weapon (PDW) I've ever seen.

Fifty round mags, an absolute sizzling little cartridge,,,
And it ejects the empties out the bottom,,,
What more could a person want?

These PDW's saw extensive screen time in the Stargate TV series,,,
A fell madly in love with the sexy little shooter,,,
But I have absolutely no need for one.

Several years back H&H in OK City had a full-auto for rent,,,
Two birthdays (maybe three) I bought 200 rounds,,,
And rented the fiery-arm for an hour.

That 200 rounds lasted considerably less than that hour of rental time.

Anyways, another member here posted about the High Tower 90/22 stock kit.
I told a good friend about it because he's almost as much of an SG-1 Geek as I am.

Apparently I planted a seed in his mind,,,
He has a 9 year old boy and a 12 year old daughter,,,
He said that he had already decided to buy each kid a $249.00 10/22 from Buds.

Now he's saying he might buy three so he can "play" SG-1 at the range,,,
The rifle is $249, the stock is $270, and the barrel shroud (strictly for looks) is $60.00.

So for a total of $579 he will have an extremely cool range toy,,,
And the best part is that I will get to shoot it as well,,,
Saving me that $579 to spend on other things.

Having friends with money is a Good Thing!

They’re interesting stocks. I like mine aside from my binary trigger being iffy (Franklin armory still can’t get them right). It does make cleaning a chore if you shoot often.

Layaway !! LOL

I'm over the stage where I'll spend a lot of money on a "novelty" gun,,,
I've actually done this in the past by buying it,,,
Then peddling it when the "new" wears off.

But if I were still there this would top my list.

I'm still hoping my bud will buy one,,,
I told him I would dedicate 2,000 rounds for it.

That's what I do now if I get intrigued by a gun,,,
I find someone who also wants one,,,
And offer to buy ammo for it.
