I have bought every gunsmithing book I could lay my hands on for some years. My first was a 2-in-1 copy of the two volume Howe. Got that when I was 17. Been downloading PDF copies of all the gunsmithing books I could find since I had a computer that would download and display them, and finding dead-tree copies where I can. Amazon, eBay, Powell's, and other online sellers have been helpful. I also bought a scanner to handle ledger-sized paper... I could spend the rest of my life copying books. :)

It’s enjoyable to page through the old Gunsmithing books. I picked up a couple of copies of Modern Gunsmithing by Clyde Baker off of eBay. One of them is a 1928 edition.
Have the same year copy of that one, lots of cool notes on the pages ...............
