Looking in to buying a Ridgeline with CF barrel to eliminate some weight. Does anyone own one? How are they at long range? Any distance shooters familiar with these rifles? Have a Bergara Approach now that shoots great. Just looking to lighten load a little but not accuracy or range.
My BIL has one in .243 and absolutely loves it. He does use match grade ammo most of the time though. Same with the one he has in 6.5 Creedmore.
Looking at 6.5 Creedmoor. What caliber does he have?
No personal experience but there’s as much, if not more negative reviews online on their rifles as there is positive.
LGS sells the hell out of them in all the "newfangled" calibers. I never realized a gun like that was in such demand.

I have a carbon classic in .300 rum and love it. It is a little ammo selective but it shoots. It is a a light weight hunting rifle and great to pack around I covered a lot of ground with it for 10 days in South Africa. I also have a ridgeline in 300 wsm but haven’t put a scope on it yet.
