No sir, but I do wish I had the room and equipment to do it. Really would like to give the Nickel Boron plating a try.

Nickel Boron? Why do you want to try that, because of the thickness and wear characteristics? We used use Ni-Bo in jet engines as a wear plating in piston ring grooves but it didn't wear much better than the Inco 718 parent material.

Pretty much. Better thickness characteristics than Hard Chrome, and better wear characteristics than Nickel. Natural slickness/lubricity is also huge bonus. Pretty much no lubing needed ever. A damp rag is all the cleaning you need. Nickel-Boron also has better corrosion characteristics than Chrome. Plus it looks cool! Makes a good gun finish that's for sure

shiny "bumper" chrome can be too thick for gun applications. your gun may not go back together. make sure you use somebody with experience on guns. High gloss nickel may be a better choice.
