And this is surprising to anyone?

In reality, once someone prints and makes a magazine with one of these, it would already be banned under the current law they just passed. You would be in possession of contraband. The 3d printing of anything does NOT make it legal, it just is a way for people to get it when they otherwise couldn't.

It is madness. A criminal looking to do evil will print the magazine anyways. He'll probably already have the real thing, lol. At least the court can add another charge if he gets caught I guess.

Newsflash. One cannot ban ideas. One cannot ban CAD files. The finished product is no different legally from one built in a factory. They are just getting desperate now. This is what happens when people make laws about stuff they know less than nothing about.

This kind of dangerous thought needs to be opposed. Prohibition of the formula for gun powder and the possession of books on reloading can't be far away.
