Not long ago I picked up a vent rib .44 mag Contender barrel with the internal "choke tube". I know it is not really a choke but their attempt at stopping the spin of their Hot Shot pellet capsules in hopes of improving patterns.
Anybody have experience with .44 shot shells other than the Contender Hot Shots in these barrels?
The Hot Shots have been discontinued and cost a ton when you find them. Ready made shells and Speer capsule are readily available.
