Do you have an idea of what you want it to look like? Know what steel you want?

I am not sure what steel but probably a drop point hunter style blade and inlay the elk ivory into a deer antler handle maybe? Or some really nice walnut? Just some ideas.

I am not sure what blade material, not sure what my current knives are made from, just want something that will hold a nice edge and look nice for years to come even with regular field use.

Casey Cleveland is a local knife maker. If you ever wanted to make your own knife, he also teaches a class on how to make your own knife. So you could use your own scales, and make your own knife.
