Here is the CMP website that will list the requirements, doesn't specifically say the CCW permit but it is acceptable, since it required shooting 50 rounds and safe gun handling, etc. Best place to purchase an M1 Garand or Carbine. Bought my 03 and 03A3 from them several years ago.

yes your ccw is all you need for proof of firearms training. citizen /proof of age.etc. download the pages fill them out include your proof and mail it in.then order your garand and carbine.i hope you aren't in a hurry.
