80.00 to 130.00 bucks for backround check PLUS

30.00 to 60.00 for book work, it varies from FFL to FFL.

My customer (buying an LC9) went to numerous FFLs charging 160.00+, and finally found one for 60.00 bucks!!! (30 for bkrnd chk + 30 for book work)

We have it good here in Oklahoma for FFL fees!!!

With all the BS that CA dealers have to put up with, plus considering that a $100K house here would be $300K there, I completely understand why it costs so much. Just another reason to not live in that state. :(

that is expensive. However it is less fees if you buy their guns they sell. In addition some are state mandated fees, plus all the additional things they make FFLs do. 10 day cool off period for EVERYONE. Showing you know how to load, unload, clear jams, etc. Then there is a test you have to take a firearms safety test and you pay to get the card.
