E.R. Shaw/Model 1 AR barrels

I've got an AR build I'm slowly working on and am looking for a barrel. This will be a general purpose AR that will be more about fun plinking. Not looking for a tactical rifle and not looking for long range. Just a general purpose rifle...that's not all black. So I'm looking at a 16" heavy barrel, stainless & fluted (I have a thing for stainless and the flutes for something different).

Based on this, I'm looking for some opinions:
I know they're inexpensive barrels but are they bad barrels?
Anything I should be aware of with either E.R. or Model 1?

I had one rifle (AR) that I used one on and the accuracy of that rifle was the reason I sold my bolt gun, same accuracy in a semi! the pasture maggots were plentiful and it was great fun with the AR. We have used a couple on rifle builds and 1 of the 3 I had to get crazy with the JB and polish the bore to get it to shoot well but other than that I've dealt with 4 ER Shaw barrels 3 good one and 1 that needed some help. Polished the bore with it, not a good way to waste time I can promise you! Later,

I have two of their barrels a 20 and a 16 both are fine shooters.
