The American doc that got is dead.
His family was with him a week before he got sick.
They are now back in the US.
Ebola has up to a 21 day incubation period.

At least on person with Ebola has been on an air plane and subsequently died. That guy was from Liberia, he flew to Nigeria and became Nigeria's first case.


It will spread to more countries. Europe and Asia are freaking out. WTF have the airports in the affected countries not been shut down? Looks like this one is running about a 55% fatality rate. This is just stupid. Shut those countries down in terms of travel.

Actually, if you are referring to Dr. Kent Brantly from Ft. Worth, he is not dead according to multiple sources.

I do agree that we need to be careful and this 'Ebola' seems 'different', but supposedly it is not as deadly as flu and other virus because it not airborne. That 'they' know of YET.

For better or worse, Ebola has also been too deadly to spread too far. That obviously changes with modern air travel, but it generally kills you too quickly for you to share it with many people.

That is what they have been saying, but it is now in 4 countries and infected 4 times the number of people from the next highest outbreak.
