I know some bayonets are junk knockoffs, some are good useable surplus items, and some are uber collectible and rare. Where do these two stand?
M6 in the M8 scabbard is for an M14. The scabbard looks older than the bayonet. M8 scabbards were used for a myriad of US bayonets and fighting knives. IDK the other one except it looks Swiss or something.
Ok it's kind of coming back to me....
M6 I probably bought after I got my M1A...I remember swapping out the neutered flash hider for one with a bayonet lug so I probably got the bayonet and forgot.
The other one came from a friend and I can never remember what it is, and whether its junk/repro, good serviceable surplus, or rare/collectible/valuable.

Yup. It’s Swiss
I believe the unidentified bayonet is a Swiss Sturmgewehr 57 bayonet. It’s a cool looking rifle that highly resembles the STG 44

This is correct, I picked one up years ago as well. They were pretty prevalent as a surplus item for a while.
