I hate the idea of someone's land being taken. I have a feeling this only only worked out because of the money spent. Us poor folk can't fight with a lawyer that long.

From what i have seen in the past around here is the .gov misuses the power of eminent domain quite often just to prove they can without reasonable compensation. I think they should do away with it entirely except in a emergency of declaration of war.
The OTA can eff right off, and when they think they've effed far enough, they can keep right on effing off.
