I live in the country and am surrounded by land that is not allowed to be hunted so we see a few cats around here. Sometimes they cross the yard between the fence rows. Gets my bird dog pretty excited:D

I haven't been hunting in the last 20 years (hoping to change that soon!). Used to bird hunt a bit. I have never seen a cat in the field. Just unlucky I guess. Would love to take one.

I saw a big Bobcat while sitting in my tree stand in Osage county. This was my first year on this lease and the other guys said they had never seen anything other than coyotes. He was about 28"-32" head to tail and and he got to within 15 ft of the base of my tree. I have no idea what he weighed but he was very athletic when he realized I was right above him. That scent block spray must work pretty darn good. I let him go because I was looking for deer meat.
