Finally chronographed my H110 and .357 loads.

140 grain JHP, Rossi '92 rifle, 20 inch barrel, CCI small pistol magnum primers.
Starting load gave me high 1700's, mid-range was mid 1800's and max load gave me right at 1900 with an extreme spread of 30fps.
All about 100fps slower than Hodgdons predicted from their load charts. I was in a bit of a hurry so I didn't test for accuracy, but they seemed to hit where I was pointing, and I didn't kill my chronograph.
I also shot some .38Special 110 grain JHP loaded with TiteGroup, they ran around 1050. Very pleasant plinking load.

Try some Vihtavuori N110. That rifle is the perfect application for it.

Edit: I get 1250 with a 158gr XTP at the starting load. Out of a 2.5" snubbie!

I bet you get a pretty good fireball along with that 1250fps!

For comparison, 18.0 gr. of Lil'gun gave me 1862 fps avg. with 158's in my 18.5" 1894 Marlin..

I bet you get a pretty good fireball along with that 1250fps!

Actually it's not bad. I thought it would be but it's very low flash considering it's actually a rifle powder. I was very surprised. Here is a video of this load in a "night stage" in the Heartland match.

Very little muzzle flash. I will put that powder on my list.
