The car was a massive basket case. It have been sandblasted, took the gel coat off. I have to redo everything. It runs great, looks good and is fun to drive. Tons of power. It will break the tires loose in 3rd.

We have a 1959 thats on the same pace...The body work is next on it and it needs the gelcoat stripped and resprayed....Who did the blasting? you? what media? what psi?
If you want it blasted, use baking soda. DO NOT blast it with anything else. you don't want to strip the gel coat off, that is a bad thing. take it down to the gel coat, but don't take it off. You will have so many problems with shrinkage, paint not sticking, etc. So it is a C1? Nice.
